There is a buzz in the parish as the people of Lattin and Cullen prepare for their forthcoming mission, which will be conducted by the Redemptorists, Fr. Derek Meskell and Ms. Niamh O’Neill. It will run from Sunday, April 19 to Friday 24 in both churches. Weekend Masses will be as usual with a special blessing for babies at Sunday Mass in both churches. The schedule is as follows: Monday to Friday, Mass in Lattin at 7 am and 10 am, Mass in Cullen at
10 am, Evening Mission in Cullen at 6.30 pm and Lattin at 8 pm. There will a Mass and anointing of the sick in Cullen on Friday at 3 pm. Big crowds are expected and all will be most welcome to join us in celebrating this significant year in the religious life of the parish, which will culminate with the sesquicentennary of the Church of the Assumption on August 15.
